Strengthening Commitments to Achieve Gender Equality for All through TGE Round 5 Module 4


On Thursday, 28 November 2024, Target Gender Equality (TGE) Round 5 took a significant step forward with Module 4: Setting & Achieving Goals with Organizational Support. This session delved into the practical challenges and strategies for embedding gender equality in organizational structures and cultures, marking a pivotal moment in the journey toward workplace inclusivity.
Generously hosted at Sopo Del Tower, Jakarta, by PT Pertamina (Persero), the workshop underscored Pertamina’s steadfast commitment to advancing gender equality in the workplace. The session commenced with welcoming remarks from Ibu Evy Rosriani, Senior Manager - Programs of UN Global Compact Network Indonesia, and featured expert insights from:

Guided by facilitators Ibu Elisabeth Dewi and co-facilitator Ibu Dyah Ayunda, participants engaged in dynamic discussions and hands-on activities to:
a. Establish actionable and impactful gender equality targets
b. Foster organizational-wide support and accountability for these goals
c. Navigate challenges and resistance through effective, thoughtful strategies
This workshop reinforced the commitment to achieving SDG 5.5 (ensuring women’s full and effective participation) and SDG 8.5 (achieving productive employment and decent work for all), paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable future.
