Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) together with the UN Global Compact Local Networks of Mauritius & Indian Ocean Region, Mexico, Portugal and as well as Switzerland & Liechtenstein have launched a webinar series focused on climate change and limit carbon emissions with the aim to make the tourism sector a driving force for sustainable and responsible business by 2025.

The Webinar Series aims to set up a sustainability initiative in tourism within the UN Global Compact, identify participants’ needs in terms of community building and practical support by the Local Networks, and to integrate the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact along the whole tourism/hospitality value chain to make a positive contribution to tackling climate change and limit carbon emissions, targeting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
